Dobeck on Husky FC/KTM SX

I've got a call in to Dobeck; I got my Iceage nitrous kit and the instructions for the AFR sensor say to install 4-8" from the head--well, all you KTM guys probably know that's the part making the extreme bend in front of the frame, which is less than ideal. My last install was on the YZ, which given the backwards design was a non-issue. I know there's a lot of KTM/Husky kits out there, and that Rush is successfully running N2O, so what's the scoop? How far back did you place it? Seems like it would be an issue with any conventional engine and that farther back on the straight run must work ok.

Here's a shot of mine. It's probably closer to 12 inches back. I ran this setup all last season and it worked perfectly. Tucks in nicely behind the radiator.

I run mine even further back than BigSkyRider... just ahead of the oil filler cap on the motor. Never had an issue and works just fine. It's my 3rd bike with the sensor in the same position. I'm scared having it too far forward since it looks like a post that just wants to get hammered by tree stobs and other nasty crap.

Edit : I do not have the upgrade tank like BigSky has (XC style) so I can get away with it further back.
