Do the 2010 XF8 Sp need shift assist?

This is my first DD sled, a 2010 Xf800 SP 141. I have been reading alot about a thrust washer kit (Shift Assist) being installed behind the secondary spring to prevent binding. I know it was a popular mod on the earlier Diamond Drive models, not sure if cat has come up with their own fix yet? Is this now a non issue with newer xf's and M's?

sandman, are you saying the 2010 could use the kit? Are you guys running them on 2009 and newer machines?

Is anyone able to access 2010 parts diagrams yet? If so, post the link.

Anyone running a Shift assist kit on their 2009 or 2010 sleds, do they they make a notcicable difference.

Also does anyone know if the 2010 secondary rollers come stock with the harder "Rock rollers"?
