Just picked up a cheap project sled - 2007 700 rmk dragon that has a broken crank and bad cases. Crank broke the pto stub off about dead center of the outer pto bearing and egged out the cases at that bearing journal. Are these cases and crank the same as the 600 CFI during the same years? Both carb and efi or no?
Also does anyone know how much can be machined off the cases for a line bore? May be able to save the cases?
Seen some good comedy on this one - appears someone prior tried to JB weld the broken pto stub back back on the crank!!!! I bet that didn't even hold long enough to get the belt back on!
