The Yakima Ski Benders will be having a meeting this upcoming Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010 @ 7:00pm at the El Rincon on Fruitvale Blvd in Yakima.
This meeting concerns the closure of Washington States DNR lands in South Central Washington. The areas that are in question include the Ahtanum, Rattlesnake, Manashtash (Ellensburg) and Lily Lake (Wenatchee) snow parks. The largest area affected would be the Ahtanum (states 2nd largest) snow parks (2) and groomed trail system.
We will try to answer any questions, and raise the funds necessary to keep our lands open. We basically have to do the same procedure as last year. We would really like to broaden the base of snowmobilers over last year, to spread the load out.
