Dmax Power at '12 Weekend on the Edge

Triple turbo Dmax driven Extreme Prejudice on the dyno at Weekend on the Edge in Ogden. This truck wasn't even the highest HP of the day and still broke the 1200 hp fuel only mark before grenading one of the turbos. One of the coolest things I've ever watched, and makes my truck look like a Pinto wagon. Missed the dyno for Overkill. That truck ran a fuel only 1490 hp run

i skipped the dyno run this year, it wasn't very exciting last year. i would have liked to see dimitris truck run though. i gotta say i was a bit dissapointed in the races and the pulls this year. got sick of the cold and waiting for them to Dick with the sled so pretty much missed all the diesel pulls.

Did dimitri ever hit the 2000hp mark, or I guess I should say did he ever get the trans to hold it.

Yeah, we showed up to the drags Friday night about 7:30 thinking we would see about 2 hours more racing like last year. Nope. The whole place was shutting down, and they almost didn't let us in until we told them we drove clear from Poky to watch. Caught about 20 minutes and it was over. Never been to the dyno before, but it was cool to watch some of the bigger power trucks go. Decided to skip the sled pulls to go soak at Lava with the ladies instead. Up in the air if I'd make as big of an effort to go to everything in the future.

i thought i saw a video on YouTube claiming dimitri hit 2000HP but that's all I've seen.

ya, we showed up late to the races to, expecting the same thing. next thing we know at about 8:00 we had about 10 full beers on our table between the 3 of us and everyone was leaving. In the past they'd just go into the midnight drags afterwords so we figured we had time but they didn't do that this year, pretty sure we were the last ones out of the stands. as for the pulls we've been the last 3 years and they usually have a diesel only pull and it goes pretty smooth, but this year they had all the gassers and the sled kept having problems so once we was outta beer money we said screw it. bet lava woulda been a lot funner, we get up to the blue moon every now and then when my buddies boss's band plays.

Not sure if it's happened before last weekend, but this is the clip someone sent to me of Dmitri's truck. This is the fuel only 1490 hp run I believe. No description on it.
