When I became interested in Winston Cup (mid-90's), he was my favorite driver.

He's had a good career, but it's time to go.

A few others need to take the hint & follow suit.

Hard to see the really nice guys go. He made the sport proud. Good luck DJ. :beer;

I agree he had a good run but his carreer was over when he went to MWR. I think another one that needs to give up driving is Kyle Petty. It would be a loss of the Petty icon but come one he ain't even competative. and is doing the Petty racing legend a big disservice. I also think the Sprint boys need to be limited to 6 or 7 Nationwide races in a year and let the young drivers coming up get a better chance at some fulltime rides so they can further develop talent for the Sprint series. Owners are alwsays saying that there is a limited supply of drivers to move up. Well guess what if you run your best drivers in both series you ain't developing new talent!!!

I like Jamie McMurrey, but are his Roush days numbered?

There's no excuse for a Roush car to be outside the top 35.

The Sprint boys are why people watch the Nationwide. I remember a time when it was tough to get enough drivers to fill the field- also it was tough to even get any sponsorship into that series.

I'd watch it even without the Sprint boys. I would rather see 35 cars out their with drivers with a little more even talent than what we have now. Give the young guys and the little less talented drivers a chance. When I was a younger man in the job market, It would always pee me off when I got told that the reason I didn't get the job was they were looking for someone with a little more experiance. Now how is someone to get experiance if noone gives them the oppurtunity?
