Ditching bogey wheels.

Bogey wheels

Who's done it, and how many? What have the results been so far?

I take all the bogeys off. For years never any problems, but end of last season help club pick up poles on trails. There was no new or lose snow to lube slides, melted right through in that one ride. Next time might try scratchers or at least put wheels back on

Here is a pic of what we usually ride in :D

Two seasons w/ no bogey wheels and no problems yet. Make sure you have ice scratchers for those hard-packed snow days.

Have all four off and a two wheel kit, knock on wood no problems yet. Will be putting anti-stab kit on this year for piece of mind. I also have ice scratchers installed and use them on hard pack.

All of mine are removed except the rear. I have an 09 so it is only the inner 2 wheels. I just use scratchers when needed. It is actually quite a bit of weight removed. Weight loss is good.
