Disappearing Posts Oldest to Newest?

I was just looking at a post and it all kind of faded then there was like a warning at the top saying this thread has met is maximum posts or something like that and that oldest to newest post will be disappearing?

Is this a setting I have on my profile doing this?

No, that is a feature of the "Live Topic" software. It automatically updates a popular thread as you read it do you don't have to refresh to see new replies, but it can only hold so many replies in its memory. The posts are still there, they are not deleted, you can leave the thread and look back at them any time you like, its just a part of that feature that has limitations.
