Dirt Biking Anyone!

heading up to Greenwater in about an hour, sorry for the short notice, youve got time if you can make it.
we will be riding from fs70 over to whislen Jacks and back. about half and Half fs roads and single track..lights and plates are necessary for this one.:beer;

I think I ran into you up on Baker and gave your riding partner a red bungee to hold up his kickstand last spring.
Any how I have a plate and an urge to ride new terrain. Sometime in the future.
Lets keep this post going for hookups. DualSports Rule!

I left Cle Elum for WJL on my XR650L last Sat.....Before I went 5 miles, my CDI quit and I returned in a pickup........Good thing, it was 97 degrees that day...Parts on order.

Yes that was us.. Had a great ride last night and got in some quality testing on a new light coming out.. anyone here is welcome anytime, were usually riding on thursday afternoons, it does make for a late night, we got back to the trucks at about midnight, conditions where good and only going to get better, a little moisture up top, and lots of big elk..

Yes I'm sure the visibility was excellent..... at night...... with a helmet light on...........for the guy in the front:p!!!! Good luck with the thick haze if you're bringing up the rear....:D

Can I get a gun with that??

I would spring for a new bike to get a new gun but I would be afraid to lose it on the trail. Didn't that happen to somebody last winter.
A gun would come in handy for all those elk tho. I would rather shoot them on film instead.

Sure it's the CDI?

Electric start push and on/off rocker are very common culprits on the XR650L, corrosion.:confused:

Not many pics but still eventful for a 1/2 day ride.

Heres one of me climbing out of the pit.

Now for carnage shots

This was a cracked case cover that led to an oil leak.

Now a radiator
