Diffrence between 11 etec and 12

I was going to post this in the skidoo section, but I figured if I got caught in the skidoo forums my riding buddies would laugh at me. Or the skidoo guys would stone me cause I a poo guy, LOL. Just wondering.

Are they preaty much the same? Or was there major changes this yr.?

Different track, gearing,and clutching for 2012. I rode a 12 800 etec and a 12 800 cat and a 11 800 pro with the peak track yesterday. They were all 154 in track length same rider on the sled Same hill and the etec was the winner. The 2012 skidoo performs better than the 2011 model.

i would love to try that etec..and the 2012 polaris..two sweet sleds i figure..but i like idea of the etec feature..and the idea behind it sure has proven itself in the marine world of two stroke domination

which helix is in the 11 and what is in the 12? I know the guys that I ride with changed the helix in the 08, 09 and the 10. And by doing so made a whole different sled. The 11 had the same problem, just wondering if they fixed it right out of the box?
