?Different colored Shock SpringsWhite Vs Red

Other than color is there a difference from The Iq front shock springs to the fusion red ones? Both have Ryde Fx Shocks that are 18 inches center to center.
Thank You for feedback.

White ones are 'screw' adjustable. Red ones have a little adjuster-knob to adjust the stiffness. I have tried both and the white ones are better IMO.
I know this for fact - the Walker Evans non-coil overs suck for durability.

white spring is a 225 pound spring and red spring is a 200 or 185 pound spring if i remember right. It has been a few years.

The springs are NOT color coded...

It depends on the application... There are 4 different black springs, a couple of different red and white springs.

most are 10.80" free length with a 100# rate.
OR
12" long with a 110# force.

Early 900 snowcheck springs were Black, Gold, Red or White... they were thinner wire gauge and lighter than the std versions in Red or Black.

So... It really is model specific.

If you look them up on www.Ronniesmailorder.com, you will see the length and force.

With the Rebuildable shocks with the treaded collars, the lenght does not make much difference... BUT on the non rebuildable it makes a WORLD of difference.

Non rebuildables require a spring compressor to install.

on my 10 800 rmk i have the springs turned up all the way and i would like them to be stiffer yet. is there a heavier spring i can buy in white.

I'm assuming that the stock is 100# spring, I'd say, buy the 110# spring and powder coat it. I bought my Zero Pro's with a 110# spring to compensate for the sway bar removal, I'm sure you could buy a different one for what you have on your sled. If you're going to ever do any mods in the future, I'm sure you know of a local powder coater. :D
