Differences between different year nytros ecu's?

Does anyone know what the difference is between the different year Nytro ecu's ? Yamaha lists one part number for 2008-2011 and a different one for 2012.

2012--- 1Engine Control Unit Assy8HA-8591A-10-00

2008-2011 ----- 1Engine Control Unit Assy8HA-8591A-00-00

I'm trying to find a used ecu for my 2012 Nytro but keep running into this issue.

Is suspect there is virtually no difference between the two but would like to know. Thanks for any info

I would send a PM to Evolution motorsports or give them a call. they are offerning a re-flash of the OEM ECU so i am sure they are aware of the differences. Sorry i could not be anymoe help Furoms are pretty slow this time of year

I think it was 2012 or 2013 that Yamaha changed the hand/thumb warmer configuration. They changed from 1 integrated switch to 2 separate switches. That could be the reason for the ECU change as I know the warmer controls are routed through the ECU.
