Looking at finally upgrading from my '09 Dragon. Have concluded that a '16 Pro Ayxs will probably be well over my budget limit. Looking at a '13 Pro 163 with 600 miles, mint condition. Not being 100% up on the little changes from '13-'15. Other than the '13 Drive belt issue(changing to a TKI gear down kit anyway) and the driveshaft/clamp fix, anything else that I need to know/worry about/fix? Thanks in advance.

fit of the lower drive pulley on the driveshaft, check for play, change the bolt to an ARP bolt

I run a 13 and love it, my buddy just got a 15 and he was told the 15 has updated Pistons and crank for improved durability along with new fuel mapping.

that's a load of crap. there sure is a lot of mystical info out there. I work on these things everyday. 13,14,15 same crank, same pistons, 14,15 different part# for rings but visually no different. never checked the calibrations all that close but I am going to hook them all up to the laptop now and check.

I had a '13 last year, rode it 1300 miles. I have a '14 this year, about 350 miles on it so far. Nearly impossible to tell a difference riding them. The '14 feels a bit sharper but that could just be because it is newer. I do not think there are any substantial changes other than colors and an update QD belt from 13 to 14.

I did also turn up the oiler on the 13 from ~50:1 to 30:1 but did not have to on the 14, it runs 30-40:1 out of the box.

Thanks for the info guys. I will try and get this thing bought today. Ride it as is for the rest of this season. Will treat it the same as my '09 Dragon, over the summer do a piston update and a bunch of other stuff. We just got about 160 cm of snow here over the last few days in town. Should be interesting tomorrow!!

Have looked into that. Best price on a new '14/'15' is 600 KM away. Will still save 3K with the '13. A few years down the road the '13/'14 will be worth about the same used.

Thanks rhodesie for the clarification on the piston and crank update cause I wasnt really sure. I second that on the 13, I love mine
