difference in motors

Is there any significant in the motors between an 07 700 dragon and an 08 700 dragon? or the chasis?

I think maybe different number of injectors? 07 has 2, 08 has 4. Not sure.

Not true.

4 injectors on both. 2007-2010 700's ALL have 4 injectors.

Difference is the existence of the de-compression valves on the 2008's,

No de-compression on the 2007's

Fuel map is RICHER on the 2008's

2008's have the "Ethanol wires" that when plugged in provide a 5% LEANER fuel curve.

2007 700's DO NOT have the Ethanol wires.

pretty sure 07-09 700 cfis were all 4 inectors...not sure about the 2010s

I just rebuilt my 09 700 RMK and if it has more than 2 injectors I couldn't find them. I thought that all 700 only had 2 injectors.

The case injectors are below the Throttle bodies.

Mountainhorse-Great Point! Just top-end! but I took off my throttle body and I don't remember a fuel rail or injectors below them- but I have been wrong way more than once! Thanks-

Just looked at online parts- and you are correct the other set of injectors are below intake boot- hard to see!

What is the decompression valves and what are the ethonal wires and who do you know if they are plugged in?
