difference between the 07&08 M8

can someone tell me the difference between a 07 and 08 M8 chassis to my understanding the tunnel and bulkhead are the same is that correct

In just the chassis, in 08 they put different edges on the running boards and made the boards so snow would pass through. Near the front of the tunnel they pressed in ridges to make the tunnel stronger.

so basiclly other than the tunnel the bulkheads are the same someone was telling me the 08 had a better rider forward design so they siffened the tunnel up and changed the rearf skid and spindles did they do anything else to them that you know?If you were buying one for the wife and as a backup would you get an 08 or 07 with a price differnce of 700?thanks for the info any more would be great

The y-pipe is also better on the 08. Think that is why they have a little better power. I recommend going with an 08, way better sled for $700.

Have rode both and for $700 I would get the 08 if it was me.

I would not buy any 07 or 08 without doing a full inspection on the diamond drive. Not a big deal, just need to check it out first.

My 07 has Fox too and it's not a SP edition.

I have one of each. The ride is nearly the same. The biggest different I notice almost instantly is the 08 has a better turnign radius. They are very similar other than that though.

I'd go with the one that's the cleanest. I have had zero issues with my 07, by far the best sled I have ever owned.
