difference between HTG and Carls 975 cyl's?

Has anybody had a chance to compare the differences between a HTG975cyl and a Carls 975 cyl? I seized my carls 975 and broke a cyl and I just stumbled across a 975 HTG cyl on the the bay with only a couple of hours left so it doesnt leave much time to research. Looks like I may win the auction so I will have a chance to compare them myself, but was wondering if anyone has already done this? Hood

Biggdawg ran one earlier this season (or rather, tried to run one) and couldn't keep it running properly... ultimately turned his back into a 900... I don't know of anyone else that has run an HTG that I can recall...

So did you win it? I saw the other parts, the cylinder was gone though. Are you going to match the porting, or just run it? I've been running the carls kit for 4 years w/o problems, but it's time for a rebuild. Still had good compression and ran well to the end though.

when i sent my motor to indy specalties dan found me new pistons for the 975carls cycle the price was not that bad he did replate them for me to runs great if u want more info let me know
