Difference between AD Boivin "Expert" & "Expert X"

I'm wondering what the difference was between AD Boivin original "Expert" & "Expert X" suspensions? I got a free version of the original from a friend and the one difference I can see in the arms on the original are single, not the double like the "X" has. Does anybody know what else changed? Can the "X" upgrades be put on the original version?
