Diesel finally cheaper than gas!!

I was a couple months off of my prediction of Xmas but at least it finally happened. Bought diesel for $1.77 yesterday and have seen it as low as $1.70, that's a dime less than gas.!! Can finally afford to go somewhere now, just hope it lasts and we don't see $4 diesel again this summer.

BUT!!!.... the little town I live in has diesel still at 2.25 but the price of gas is consistent with the rest of the state. I drove 30 miles yesterday and saved $36.00, had to go that way anyway, and take that times 3-4 times/month and that adds up. So, if anyone is headed through SD on hwy 14 I would advise getting enough fuel to get you through the Miller/Highmore area cause were just a bunch of crooks!! 30 miles either direction and you'll be back to the less expensive stuff.

I saw a station yesterday for 1.99 so i hurried and pulled over to fill up. All the other places around are still at 2.25.

1.70 in SD That's good news. Utah has a habit of jabbing it to us as long as they can get away with it. hopefully they will follow in suit.

Anywhere from $1.99 to $2.20 here yet. Much better than $4.00 as already stated considering it is a bi-product of gasoline and is cheaper to make....

I hope that trend is moving Westward, still a 50 cent spread here in SE Idaho. $1.75 gas and $2.25 diesel.

Shell in town Diesel 2.19/gas 2.25....which later caused others to price both regular and diesel at 2.19. But these (2.19 both) Koreans RAPE you
if you need plus 2.39 or Premium 2.49.

The Flying J, Shell and Husky on the north end of Saskatoon are all at $0.75 / L for diesel. It's been below gas for the last 2 to 3 weeks here. Back where it should be.
