On August 5th 2013, I was leaving my house to meet a friend at Starbucks to return his phone that he had left in my truck the night before. I left my home in Boulder at 7:42am. As I drove down my Road to 17th Street, I remember attempting to make the uphill turn but fell asleep on a cloud. I was spotted by Bart at 7:53 am. He said he looked over while driving down 17th Street and noticed me in my jeep. Apparently, it looked like I was passed out or taking a nap. He continued driving, but, something was telling him to turn around and go back and check on me, and so he did. He drove back, where I was slouched over, dead, inside of my jeep.
I didn't have a pulse or heartbeat. Bart described my body as ghost white and blue lips. He called 911, and with the help of a cyclist passing by, was able to pull me from the vehicle and begin CPR. He prayed out loud to God, saying if it's my time to go, then to take me, but if this man lives, reveal his purpose for staying with us! He continued CPR but could not get a pulse. At approximately 7:59, paramedics arrived. They too tried cpr but came up empty, 4 minutes later I was shocked 3 times back to life.
This bible verse best explains it: Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
