Did you buy an M1100 non-Turbo?

Bet there's not many (any) of them flying out of the dealers lots.
I understand they dropped the 600 in favor of this for emissions compliance, but who in their right mind would buy a M6 that weighs a 100lbs more than a M6 should?
No advantage to buying a 4s to turbo it with a factory turbo available.
Shoudl be able to get them cheeeep real soon.
I actually haven't even seen any for sale.

I rode one.
I rode one during the demo last spring. I would liken it to riding a washing machine full of concrete. Not real sure where Cat was trying to go with that one.

Yamaha sells a lot of nytros, and it weighs more, has a worse chassis with the same HP.

Don't you think that if cat had not offered the 1100t that alot of guys would be buying the 1100na and turboing/supercharging it? Just like yamaha guys with the nytro?

i think alot of f1100 and cf1100s were sold in the east for the long mile 30 mph bumper to bumper following trail riders. Not so many m1100s

I don't have one but I have seen pictures and have formed many opinions basis those pictures. Don't forget to thank me for this informative post.
I rode a nytro once (sans turbo) I laughed.
For the rental market though.. the 1100 is a great machine as long as they can hit the price point needed for it to work for those companies. I'd think the t660 is more ideal in that niche than the 1100... but if that turd allows cat to keep making the 800 a little longer....

that is the truth right there!! carbon credits baby. Hats off to all the east coasters that bought the f1000 and cf1000 so I can keep my 2 stroke. The 600 won't be coming back boys. get used to it. if anything they might pump up the 500 a little bit for the racers but that is about it.
id bet they bring it back with direct intejction as a trial run for the 800...same thing doo did with the etec
