Did they move the brake on 14?

I am confused if you look at the following link.

They have one photo with the QD with the the brake on the top pulley but if you look down a few photos of the silencer it looks like there is a brake disk showing on the drive shaft.

Any thoughts?

One with the muffler is a chain drive.

No, still on top. Even worse, that picture has a chain case in it.

The pic of the silencer in the link/on that page is an Assault.... black piggyback clicker front shock(s) is the giveaway.

Not to Hi-jack this thread but is there a good reason why they don't move the brake to the drive shaft? I have always wondered why this is not standard as a chain or QD failure could send you for a ride with the brake on the jack shaft.

they always have.... on the short tracks they have a funnel from one of the vents to the brake to cool it, did so on the iqs as well. Possibly the reason why? also not a ton of reports of people dieing from no brakes cause their chain drive broke over the years.
