Did BackCountryIsLife get Avalanched on?

Does anyone know if our very own "BackCountryIsLife" got himself caught in an avalanche yesterday?


really, really happy to be alive this afternoon.

Took a wrong turn in a whieout & ended up in a spot I shouldn't have been.

Everyone is safe, nobody got hurt, but we came out witohut my sled today, it's sitting somewhere under about 1700 feet of avy debris.

Scariest day of my life.

Really scary day, you always wonder if the things people SAY can save your life REALLY can... today I got to find that out FIRST HAND.

I would have been fine speculating.

Thanks for the concern guys, today was a day that makes you stop & think a bit more than usual.

Hopefully I find my sled soon, I'm not terribly optimistic about it being ANYWHERE near rideable.
