Did anyone save 30% at Gonnasons??

Sure was nice to have Kevin offer 30% off oil, plugs and belts ffrom 9:35 to 10:00pm and then get to the cashier and they say "Oh that was over 10 minutes ago" and it wasn't even 10:00pm yet. Then you question them about it and they tell you to just take it back if you don't like it. I guess that's why I bought my 07, 2-08's and an 09 from Steel Dreams. They are 100 miles one way for me but well worth it for the customer service and the mechanics knowing how to fix stuff.

Also Jeff ought to learn to control that woman in his life. She could get him in a lot of trouble.

New sleds?

Anybody see an 09' sled there? I went kinda late, had one beer. I watched them give the sled away then went inside to see what they had for deals? Just as I am ready to ask some questions about the stuff I was interested in, on the loudspeaker came the dude that was yelling everthing he said, "were closed, get out, we're closing the gate now!" I just put down the stuff I was looking at and left? I guess I'll have to shop somewhere else. I will have to say, it was a good place to BS. Just like the forum, but in real life.-00's

Jeff Gonnason is probably one of the nicest guys and does alot for alot of people.
Yeah, I agree that Steel of Dreams is a Great Place, but why would you come to Gonnasons open house if that is your dealer? Or the fact that you talk about Gonnasons on here like its a bad place why make an appearance to there store.

For those commenting here that have never been to this dealer and don't know the owner and history of Gonnasons.....please just butt out.
This dealer has done ALOT for sledding in Wa state for decades longer than the "other" dealers have been in existance. No dealer is perfect, if you don't like it then don't go there. Jeff is more than fair, has bent over backwards for myself and many other I know to keep us on the snow. I will continue to support them. And making blows toward a mans family is a good way to make enemies REAL fast.

Yeah it's never enough for some people. Free beer and food and only 20% off thats pretty lame. So he said 30% and you only got 20% if thats not enough you shouldn't have bought. Go elsewhere and pay full retail, but don't whine like a baby. Is it really worth throwing a fit over $20-40 dollars, when your in one of the most expensive sports there is. I would told you to take a hike as well. Gonnasons has always went above and beyond for me and I will never go anywhere else.

There's another great first couple posts. I don't know anything about the dealer or what everyone is arguing about but I love it when someone's first post is telling forum members that this isn't myspace and what we are and aren't allowed to talk about on here. I guess a new forum cop is born everyday. If you're not new, grow a pair and use your real name.

I was at the open house and I thought it was handled pretty dam well concidering all the beer that was being served.
I never heard about any 30% but I didn't stay 'till the very end either.
I got 50% off a coat for my wife (Last year's model) and was dang happy about that.
I got 20% off a pair of Klim Freeride pants and a few other goodies too.
They gave you free beer.
They gave you free food.
They had MANY raffles all night long and gave away HUNDREDS of dollars worth of prizes.
They gave away a Mini Z at the end of the night.

ALL FREE

And you're whining about WHAT?

You're a real piece of work and I hope your real proud of yourself.

Look, They're not my regular dealer only because of location but I have bought a lot of parts and accessories from them over the years and they have always taken great care of me and treated me as though I had bought all my sleds from them. I've always been given good advice from their service department too when I was at wits end about a repair or something.

I think you need a nap.

I didn't go to the open house so I can't comment. I live quite a ways from them. However, I have bought two new sleds and a boat from them spanning back over 20 years. I was always treated fair.

Well I did buy new 03 and 04 159 X's from them, so I will talk about the way I have been treated. Funny how I am the bad guy when my wife spent 350.00 F***ing dollars there Friday night. And I don't care who offered the 30%, but it was laid out there on the mike from the stage and was not followed through with. Jeff's wife(I don't even know her name is how much I care who she is) doesn't even know who my wife is(except that I was standing right there) and has never talked to her but gets into a screaming match with her. Spend your money where you want but I have nothing good to say about that shop. I guess they think any publicity is good, so here's their Pub.

Getting 86'd from there? Big deal they're so big they don't need any of my business anyway and there are plenty of dealers between Enumclaw and Burlington but I go to Burlington anyhow

Been there a few times...I kinda got a bad feeling about 4-5 years ago....They pull the ticket to see who wins the drawing for the sled.......I'm right up front and can overhear a conversation I'm sure they didn't want heard......

It goes kinda like this: "Damn, well pulled a ticket for "?" to win the sled and I thought it was set up for "!" (so and so) to win......What should we do?

Gonnasons is the place you need to go if you ride a skidoo, and need a part. I have never been to a dealer with as many parts on hand. The ones you need late friday and you are going riding on saturday. You know the ones! I don't know anything about what people are saying above, but. I think with that many people. After that long of a day, you gotta give the Gonneson's some credit. I think they are "Good People" the sport is better with them vs. without them. Some people need to just go home and take it easy. And after all the dust has settled, see if you still think you were treated unfair. I would like to thank them for buying me a beer and giving me a chance to win a free sled! If I ever need somthing, I will shop there anyday. -00's
