DID ANYONE GO TO STAMPEDE THIS WEEKEND???

Was wondering if it is even worth a trip to go up there!

We rode the Gold Creek side on Friday and the coverage is still good! only rode 100ft of dirt/pavement. Unloaded at the GC snopark.

Was that at the Hyak exit to GC? Can you get a trailer turned around at the end? Thanks

At the Hyak exit. I would say you could get an open trailer past. Unhitch and turn it around by hand type of deal.

The snow start right where the pavement end so a few rigs unloaded below the bridge and rode up from there.

Rode Stampede Saturday and was very pleasantly surprised. Still lots of great riding to be had!

Does this mean the snowparks are closed, or just done grooming for the season?

Parking lot closed, parked by gate and still snow at the gate to ride from almost zero gravel from the first turn in.

so: is it 'park in front of the gate and hope you don't get towed/ticketed/blocked in', or are there alternative parking/places to go?
Seems like there's still good snow, but I've never rode this late in the year....yet.

You won't get a ticket, just don't block the main Gate and don't block the road that goes off to the right of the gate.
