It was a lot closer game than the final score indicated.
Not sure what the outcome woulda been had it not been a muddy mess?

ROME, Ga. (AP) - The University of Sioux Falls won the NAIA
national football championship today by downing Carroll College of
Montana 23-7.

Sioux Falls lost to Carroll in the title game a year ago.

Lorenzo Brown threw a touchdown pass and rushed for 129 yards to
lead the winning Cougars, who were unbeaten in 14 games this year.

It's the third national title for Sioux Falls. The Cougars also
won in 1996 and in 2006.

Carroll College had won five of the past six NAIA titles.

Today's championship game was played in Rome, Georgia.

I watched the majority of the game. Two good teams...slugfest. USF won in the trenches; won the game. Their O-line has to be pushing a 300 lb. average:confused: Curious to see what would have happened if Carroll wasn't starting their 4th string quarterback? Not taking anything away from USF, they're a very good football team:)

Game

I watched it to. Two good teams going for the championship to bad it was on a crappy field. Did you hear the interview at halftime where the USF guy was complaining about the field. He hit the nail on the head Congrats to USF

That 4th string quarterback looked damn good for a freshman!

I wouldn't bet against a rematch for the title next year.
