Diamond S hood/M/BD Turbo....needs fab wook

Got a Diamond S hood from a buddie for a great deal, he wrecked it last year and one alum tube needs a weld, no big deal

My problem is this hood is for a non-turbo M and has a goofy intake...it apperas snow and water can be introduced to the intake of the engine, not good for unscheduled maintenance....lol

Issue: The alum tubing of the hood hits the intercooler charge tube, guess i have to rework it to fit.....also, the huge gaps on the rear of the hood are horrid, guess i got to add some more vent material

Anyone rework this hood to fit? Anyone want to trade for a hood that wil fit......the guy i bought it from is a bed wetter and only has one good eye so i really dont want to ask him any questions or bother the old goat

i would suggest having scott from diamond S take a look at it. he generally can fix hoods back to new and can take out that air intake so its more suitable for a turbo sled.

i think he pulled my air intake and recovered it for like $75. not bad.....

plus welding Ti is kinda tricky..i wouldnt leave it up some rookie!
