Diamond drive: drive shaft re-install question

I think I already know the answer to my question. I removed the drive in 09 M1000. I wanted to make sure the internal were still good shape with 2000 mostly mountain miles. I also wanted to see what the mag side bearing was like. so I had to remove the drive shaft. On the chain case sleds (MC) you had to tighten the chain case side (3bolts) then lock the centric bearing collar (pto side). That lined up the shaft in the tunnel. On a diamond drive (09) I believe you have tighten the 16mm bolt in the shaft, then tighten the rotor 2 1/8" bolt. I did it reversed rotor side first then diamond drive.

I was told you put everything back together in reverse order of how you took them apart. I.E the last part you took off is the first you put on.
