Development and Manufacturing Problems

Curious to know, of the 4 main sled builders, what are some of the factory problems and issues they have been having in the past 3 years only.

Not interested in problems occurring after modifications by the owners, but factory non modified sleds.

Sure seems to me the consumer is paying ( using their hard earned money ) to do product testing for the manufacture. I refuse to chalk this up as part of having fun. The manufacture should be held to a higher standard of product development and manufacturing.

Are the problems partly a cause of using the cheapest materials and labor in an attempt at making a higher profit ?

As long as improvements are brought out year after year, there will continue to be glitches & less than perfect components.

However, consider what use, abuse, terrain, temperature & environment these machine are exposed to......
I feel they perform & hold up very well.

What other equipment performs under similar conditions?
Dirtbikes? What do they have for warranty?

these four put the pressure on each other every year for years now...when and if they take a rest from r and d then maybe they will strengthen/fix some issues that the sledders and aftermarket have been dealing with..it has to be hard on the manufacturers with less deep pockets to not be able to take a little break..
