Desperate Fools!

I just don't get it. Why would you beat up a $12k sled that much for one ride on crappy snow?

To each there own but personally I think I would just take up the bike lol
Thats always an option! lol

It's not like the sled was ruined after one ride my friend... Yes, there was some wear and tear on the skis, but it's not that bad.

Besides, we didn't really know what it was like till we got there, wasn't going to turn around and go home...

We enjoyed the sun and what little snow was there. The views were fantastic (much better than sitting on the couch). Good company and some nice cold beer. It doesn't get much better, honestly.

Cheers!
:beer; :beer;

Been there and done that.

The gravel stinks, and you have to keep you eyes on the water temps.

BUT, when you get to the snow, it's ALL worth it.
We did that on June 23 last year and it was one of the best rides of the season. Snow sucked and the gravel sucked, and there was too much bear grass...but the sunburns were nice and we had an OUTSTANDING DAY!!!!

I get what you guys are saying but damn, it just makes me cringe watching YOU do it. I couldn't imagine me doing it!

Lol, I hear ya. I use and abuse my toys, but they get the best maintenance I can give them, always keep them running great. Lots of scratches and bruises though ;)

They definitely could not drive up that road any farther. I was there (Brohm Ridge) on Saturday and you can drive to the bottom of the causeway and I doubt these guys had a key to the gate so they probably drive a LOT farther!

I have unloaded lower than that in August! That will tell you how bad the snow was this year!

Pic from Saturday of the same place.

The gate was unlocked... We drove up as far as we could without risking going off the road on that steep hillside!
