What shocks you got on there, Stock ones won't drop if you blow them.
Good point, the coil springs will hold them up. Make sure you don't have a broken a-arm or something else serious like that. Can you take some pics and post em, might help out in solving your problem.

ok i will try but basically the right side shock has the red coil down to the bottom and the sled tilts to that side badly everything else looked to be proper and i did search ebay i dont have $200 to drop unforentently

coil would hold it up unless the shock itself is broken. Take a close look at both side of the front and make sure you don't see anything broken.

What for sled is this on, RMK, Switchback, Fusion??? Shocks should be the same but there is a guy on HCS parting out a Fusion, I can see if he still has the shocks if that is in fact what you need.

I see what you are saying now, it does look like you need a shock, or at least get it rebuilt? Not sure what the extent of the damage is.

I had a shock on an older sled do that once, moisture got inside the shock and when I hit a bump it froze in the fully compressed position. That means the shock needs rebuilt or replaced. I have a shock off of an 06 900, its just a ryde fx with a red coil spring if your interested. $50 shipped

Spring is stuck in an almost "coil bind" attitude pull it and check for damage in suspension travel, most IQ shocks will fit.

Looks like it leaked the oil out but if there is no sign of oil then might be like an hydrolock(nitrogen leaked into the oil). Either way it needs a rebuild.

If you were close by I would've told you to bring it on over for the cost of a six pack each for me n you but here in the arctic nothing is close by. A shock shop can rebuild it for cheap. 40-50 with seals included depends on where you go, but if you bring it to the dealer they would take an arm and a leg plus extra for there man hours. I started doing my own shocks a couple years ago. Well worth the investment of nitrogen and tools. I have a fusion also, sorry do not have the shocks anymore. One bent shaft and other bent body.

My advise would be to find a shock shop close by or send it to hygear suspension, heard they do an awesome job. Good luck on the shock.

BTW- if it is hard to pull out or if it can not then it is hydrolocked with nitrogen in the oil or oil in the nitrogen.

ya hard to pull so i figured it was locked..and rebuilds here take a week 9that always ends up being longer) and cost as much as a used replacement so that really isnt an option i want to ride now not in weeks..lol..
