Buddy of mine just moved to derby canyon rd and there are some awesome spots to ride from what I saw. Just seeing if anyone has first hand experience with this area? Now let it snow!!

sledding or dirt biking? Not sure about how good the riding is for sleds, as I don't think lots of folks ride up there... but there is good riding not far from there.

Sledding, he said the neighbors ride out there but not sure if it's just trail sleds or not. Looking at the elevation it's between 3k-4k so it would need to be a good winter. Hopefully everyone is wrong and it DUMPS!!
Not much good riding up derby. But you can get to sugarloaf from there and there is some decent riding around that area
If you try to get to sugarloaf from up derby better have a mountain sled cause it drifts bad up top and have a shovel handy. Like other guy said not a lot of people ride up there but there are pockets of goodness if you know were to go. I come up from the Entiat side And have never seen anyone else up there.

From what your saying sounds like a GREAT place to ride. No people and "pockets of goodness". Might have to show us around come winter

Ya could do something like that. I don't usually get up there but once a year but if I knew someone was up there I could meet you on top and show you a couple places so you guys could ride from house without trailering anywhere.cheers
