Demo 8 DH mountain bike for trade in Utah

Sorry if this is not appropriate to put here, but I figured since this deal is more applicable to locals I would post it here. Feel free to delete it and/or let me know if it can't be here.

Anyway, I've got a 2009 Specialized Demo 8 with an insanely top of the line build, check out the specs and pic here:

I'm selling it to buy a sled, so I figured I would post it here to see if anyone locally has a decent mountain sled sitting around that they'd like to turn into a mountain bike. :) I'd be interested in pretty much any mountain sled of comparable value.

My phone number is also on that pinkbike page so give me a call or text if you are interested.

I'm asking $3500 for it. The retail on all the components including suspension add up to a solid $3500, and the frame retailed for $2200... obviously they're used so they aren't worth nearly that much, but the components (other than wheels) are all from 2011 and bought this spring.

It started life as the Demo 8 II you can see here:

But last spring was completely rebuilt by the previous owner who wanted a more light weight set up and clearly had a pretty nice budget to work with.

It weighs 38 lbs! Pretty awesome for a DH rig. I rode it down in Moab this summer and did the "whole enchilida" ride which is an all day shuttle ride from up in the mountains and has about 1,200' of climbing! Obviously it's not the best to pedal around, but I hike or pedal up almost everything I ride and it is great for it. Light and pedals super well with the custom suspension.
