As I'm sure quite a few know, the deluxe Arctic Cat gauge has a diagnostic mode that you can get into by holding the increment and decrement buttons down for 10 seconds. If press the inrecrement button until it gives you the #3 output it will show you the coolant temperature.
I was talking to a Arctic Cat guy at Haydays and he told me that the output it gives isn't actually F or C. He apparently is correct. Here's a picture of the gauge showing the coolant temp, and my aftermarket gauge showing the same thing in the crossover pipe:
This is right after the thermostat opened. The thermostat opens at 150F, where the gauge shows 167-169. Throughout the temp range the coolant temp output is vaugley about 20 higher than what my gauge reported.
