Delete parking brake

I would like to remove my parking brake assy on my nytro but still be able to park with the primary brake.

I would like to see or hear any solutions that people have come up with.

I have a thick o ring that hangs on the bar, I stretch it over the brake lever when I need to park, works great, liteweight, and free

MPI kit is a little pricey but it is a nice kit and works well. It comes with the brake handle that is modified and the locking block. I figured it was worth it to spend the money for the clean looking install.

The MPI kit looks good and probably is worth the money, but i have to save somewhere to stay in the sport...

Thanks

Just keep spare o rings I let mine hang on the handle bar next to reservoir, every once in awhile I will lose one in a tumble, best part is since the o ring is in the way of putting your hand on the grip, you never forget to take it off cuz them yammies have so much torque and power I usually drove away with the. Brake on and never noticed :P

Stretch the o-ring around the master cylinder resivore itself. :face-icon-small-win

I will take a 1 lbs loss for a minimal amount of money anyday since most of the weight loss on the Nytro comes with considerable price tag attached. (ie B&F suspension, sub-frame, tunnel etc. etc) 1 lbs here and there add up.

Park Brake Delete

I don't know. I paid the $100ish for the park brake delete from MPI on last sled and kind of missed the stock one. The issue I had was that if I forgot unset the brake with the sled on the trailer it would leak down as the sled started to get older. Then the brake would be soft when I went to ride again. My 2 cents.

I removed the entire Yamaha assembly. Mounted the skidoo lever. I had to get a brake line made up. I had lordco send it to free line for me.

I really want to see one of these brake lever set-ups
I think all of you are replacing the
Master Cylinder and Lever assemble
if some has found just the lever that works I want to see pics

Brake delete

I'll get some pics. For now, I used a Willwood master and a custom brake line. I believe it was NPT off the master to 60 deg flare nut to the cable and then a the banjo on the calliper.
