Deerhaven lodge

Deerhaven lodge in the Southern Bighorns is closed for the winter. Stopped and ate a less than stellar lunch at Meadowlark lodge and the help told us they are not opening Deerhaven lodge this winter. Blamed it on lack of customers........

here is some more info 139 a night for motel room 2 beds at meadowlark.
129 a night for 2 beds at deerhaven. No lodge at Deerhaven only rooms.
And the hours are 9-4 WTH??????

Meadowlark has gas. Snowing as we speak.

The same people own all the lodges on the south bighorns. They figure they can make more money by not having deerhaven open. Meadowlark used to be the place to be back in the day, i remember when the restaurant was really good. They just remodeled the lodge, havent been up to check it out yet. Only a short trail ride over to the battle park road so not that big of an inconvenience.
