I have actually never used one.. but there is any outfitter here that has three of them.. says most of the time they work great.. but some conditions are no good.. so :confused:.. i'm personally not sold on them..
 
Never used one, we hunt out of tower box stands. Looks pretty sweet though. I doubt it would work well in the rain, and it would suck if it frosted up like a car windshield and there wasnt frost on the ground.

true... in iowa, for the deer hunting season (shotgun) always start in December to January. i arent buying it. i would use the tree stand for bow hunting in fall. save the money.
 
It is hard to eliminate the distortion they create as well as such things as heat waves that wouldn't typically be seen. I personally didn't care for it. Let me clarify, I didn't hunt out of it, my partner did. I used the old "penthouse" blind. Guess who shot a turkey and who didn't :)
