Deep tracking a xc 700?

Do I have to change my drivers to 8 tooth for a 2 inch track to fit my 98 xc 700?

Nope, but you will have to notch the track to clear the tunnel coolers.

it is real simple to notch the track i did it to my 97 700xc i put a 151 on it only took me about 45min to do the track

what did you use? have a friend thinking of doing this and was wondering the same thing.

I've got a square cooler off of an older ultra that sits on the back of the tunnel. Will this work? The hoses would run under the seat and I would have to cut a large hole in the rear of the tunnel. I could get rid of my rail coolers this way I wouldn't have to notch the track.
