How would i raise the suspension on my 1994 grand touring XTC. Would it help it in deep snow if i would raise it up.

How much money do you want to spend on that sled? Raising wont help. maybe dropping it and getting a bigger lug track.

port your back rest. That will definately help in deep snow.
If you really want to float, cut off that back rest and the luggage rack w/ a saw. Seriously, just ride that thing and have fun. save some money, sell that one and buy a fan mtn sled.
Don't put too much money into that sled. Ride it and have fun. Keep it as a good trail sled or 2nd sled when you have the cash for a mtn sled.
If you could find a 1" or 1 1/2" track for it that would help. You might be able to extend it a little, but doing all of this may require gearing down, carb and clutch work. It could be more expensive than you first think.
