Deep snow issue

I think this has been discussed before but anyone figure out how to deal with the lack of airflow in deep snow? . I've got a sidekick and whenever I'm at low speed and the hood is under it will bog down and when I hit the throttle I've got not power. If I clear the hood everything is good. If I'm at full speed and the hood goes under then it's fine. Only when starting or if I'm at low rpm

I run the slp vents and also 2 small round frogzskin on each side. Cured my over hood pow bogs.

A buddy of mine has the SLP vents and he doesn't have an issue at the times I do (I don't have the SLP vent). I'm thinking about doing that vent setup but I need to change my dash bag out to do it.

I have the Fire n Ice intakes. You have to be careful while cutting the plastic for the outside pieces, you can cut into the air box (a sawzall is not the right tool).

I just put a 2.5" flo right under the hood in that flat area of the air box, zero issues in powder.

I was just looking at the Fire n Ice site. Am I right that both sides of what you are showing costs $130? The SLP's are $65 but only have the inside vents for both sides. I just think that $130 is a lot for vents.

No, you're not looking at it right. The Fire n Ice intakes come as a complete set (all four). Natural frames are $65 the black frames are $75.
