Deep Powder - Utah - Farmington

If you are looking for some deep powder in Norhtern Utah right now look up Farmington canyon.

Went Saturday afternoon, it was amazing and so few people had been up high it was full of untracked powder.

Did not see any avy activity which did surprise me. climbed up out of the top Alalanche Bowl and the snow was really set up at the top; however, this could mean a nastly slab type avy if it did break loose.

With the new snow tomorrow it may be even better.

Did you ride north of the towers or just the BTFL Peak area?

I have not been up there much this year due to the AVY conditions. Ride the grandview side all the time though as it's 10 mins to the parking lot from my house.

Man the snow this year has been and is getting incredible! I'm still perma-grinning from rides this past week!
