Power World in Granby is having an open house on Saturday, December 8th and starting at 6PM will be hosting a Free avalanche class taught by Mike Duffy of Avalanche One. If you have not taken a class before, this is a great opportunity to learn backcountry safety, and bring a friend. There have been so many free classes taught by Mike Duffy. There is no reason as a sledder that each of us hasn't made the effort to go to one. I hope everyone is taking advantage of the opportunities.
I was planning on going to this one... but instead I thought this would be more fun, at 11k+ in the snow, about an hour from any road.
