Sheriff and coroner were breaking into an enclosed trailer Wednesday morning. Word was that there were dead people inside. carbon monoxide?

When we got back to parking lot Thurs afternoon Sheriff was just starting to tape off back end of parking lot, then another sheriff and coroner showed up. We speculated the same......

OMG! I was there and saw the sheriff but didn't look to see what he was doing. Was it the white truck with trailer parked in the way of the west trailhead heading out the lot?

Pretty sure that's Routt county up there.

It's right near the county line. The MC lot is a "gray area". When I was on the fire department Grand County got called out instead of Routt and I have seen more Grand County deputys up there than Routt. I only ask because if it was Grand I can find out what happened, Routt I cannot.

Same here I can't find any info but I think it was the rig on the far west end of lot w/ gray 4? place enclosed. Right after I rode by to load up, the sheriff stretched tape across end of parking lot....

I didn't realize the "county lines" were so close up there. You make a valid point. Now I'm not sure if it's Routt or Grand??

Sad news. It wasn't that 6 place enclosed with Michigan plates was it? It was sitting there for several days on the west end of the lot. I met the guy and got his number. maybe I'll give him a call to check. They were staying in a motel or something and just left the trailer their though.

It was Grand County and yes there were deaths. It's under investigation so I cannot find out who died. As soon as I can find out I will let you all know. My wife will keep me posted.

If its past the CDOT barn and on 40 then its not in routt county. I asked around and nothing in routt county. If I find out I will let ya know

It's under investigation. And it's Grand County, most likely you won't. That Sheriff is a idiot. Only releases news that makes him look good.
