Death in Cooke city today

Just heard that someone was killed today in Daisy, don't know any other details. Also, The local search and rescue has told everyone to stay off the mountain until the snow settles down, saying that slopes are sliding that they've never seen before.

Its been puking here from the sky since yesterday, our group had an awesome day today in the trees of Round lake, staying close to the trail. easily 2-3ft of deep wet snow.

If anyone has more details, please tell.

It's hard to tell by the photo, but man if that slid, nothin's safe out there. That canadian report was saying 20 degree stuff was sliding. What a horrible deal.

Crazy, we play in there alot when avy conditions are high. However there are some long chutes in there that are not seen well no matter where you're at. We typically stay away from these chutes until late spring. Ride safe guys, even the trail to Round is in runout zones.
