Whomever stole my buddies snowboard off the ridge riders left of Monster bowl, I hope the Karma Tax weighs heavy on your soul. May the pennies you make from its pawn bring nothing but hardship to you and your family.

If anyone noticed anyone coming down from the tower with a loose snowboard today at approximately 2:30, any details would be appreciated. Most likely they were carrying the board or had it jrigged to their sled.

Thanks aholes.

bummer

damn that sucks, as a avid snowboarder myself i am always worried about leaving it outside the lodge at the mountain resort, never thought someone would stup so low to steal it from the backcountry.

agreed AHOLES!!!:face-icon-small-fro

yeah that's f'n weak!

I could see some bubba joker tossing it in the bushes just to be a jerk as well..

When i was headed down off the mountain around 4:30 I hit a tree while I was digging her out I saw a board. We were one of the last off the mountain I grabbed it and was asking everyone I saw on the way down. I think I have your board. Just to be sure (so I don't give it to the wrong person) please give a breif description of it. I was just getting on here to post a found bord on gc but saw this post.

I really hope that's Tom's tree magnet sled just wore off on the board.......

I always worry a little bit about leaving my gear, but have assumed that nobody would be that much of a jackass in the past.

Maybe you should ask before jumping to conclusions. There are many good people that snowmobile. Perhaps someone thought they were doing you a favor.

It would have made a great tow dolly for my conveyor belt. Probably would've cut some time off the 4-1/2 hr extraction from down behind baker lake. The road was wind blown so guess how we got it out.

With 2 newbs to.

Back to topic.

u are correct.. there Are many good sledders.. that doesn't mean there isn't a couple bad apples either. I've certainly been out there with some jackasses before giving us crap for snowboarding. its kind of retarded actually. its like the old skier vs boarder battles from the 80's :face-icon-small-con

more often than not though, everyone is pretty dang cool out there.. just sayin..

one thing i have seen with sleding, most of the rift, rafts cannot afford to do what we do, it takes money and good money, so we ussally have good jobs or now how hard it is to earn what we love

good ending to a bad thread

Baker is expansive, when I left my cell phone on my tunnel and drove off it laid in the parking lot. Two hours later i realized I screwed up, about then a sled pulled up and handed it off to me.

1 week later coming down the mountain I was approached by a fellow sledder, he had found a back pack full of beer and was looking for its owner, i was out of beer but decline to claim it, amazing the extent some will go to find the rightfull owners.

Keep up the honesty it doe's reward in ways we never expect.

FYI, seeing a lot of trash on the trails, probably dummys like me forgetting to zip up there tunnel bags, do a double check before hitting those whoop out trails.

If anyone found a go pro suction cup, and handlebar mount on the salmon la sac trail, lemme know lost last weekend :(

Speaking of good people, I left my boots and helmet down at our pickup spot at gold creek, I had to write a note in the snow "please leave here" because i was worried someone would pick them up and try to find me. I feel like that would happen more than someone stealing them.

Sure a lot of smart asses on here. If he gets his board back-great. If he doesn't-sucks! If the guy actually "stole" the board then he'll get whats coming to him sooner or later.

give the guy that found the board a break-he didn't have to show up here on a public forum and say he found a board. He could have kept quiet and enjoyed the board!
