Do dealers typically have a few x-models for sale during the season or after Snow check???

In October I tried to find an X model XP summit 154, finially did but it was one the guy who ordered it backed out of, so I bought it . The dealers told me usually every X model had to have a name attatched to it before it could be ordered, a few dealers somehow had a few extra ones tho. everyone has a different story on it.

Try One Way Marine in Helena, Mt. 59601 They might have one or tell you where one is. They have a web site.
The only way they have x models is if someone backs out. The factory won't give them x models without a name on them. I have seen dealers order them with a relatives name.
my local dealer has friends put there names on sleds that they don't intend to pick up. they love snow checks every snow check they order is one less standard model they need to order and sell in the fall. easier to sell x model then standard model for about same price.
