Dead forest ride

I like the flowy kind of riding best and the dead forest is the flowiest. Just thought some of you might be interested to see. WARNING: BORING VIDEO

We ride through thousands of acres of old forest fire burn and old bug killed big mature timber, so while the forest has suffered the last 20 years with the beetle kill and forest fires, the silver lining is the big uptick in bike/sled riding areas.

We ride quite a bit of that stuff too. It never ceases to amaze me how strong those old dead branches actually are, I've learned to give them a wide berth after getting skewered a few times.

Oh yeah they become like petrified wood. No nice bounce like live trees.

Yeah carbon coating preserves the wood.

Yep, can’t never trust that there’s not snakes under there. I try to keep speeds a tad lower for that reason
