Dead battery

I was wondering if anyone out there knows if it is possible to start the new M1100 turbos by wrapping a rope around the primary clutch? If your battery was dead and you were in the backcountry. Just bought a 1100 and have never owned a four stroke sled. Thanks in advance

Its possible.

I would not worry too much about it. I always recommend a battery tender if you are not riding for a few weeks and/or it is super cold.

We have been running Yamaha 4 strokes since 2003 and have never had to clutch start one yet.

Wonder if there is enough clearance to do this on the Cat?

Yup, get tough it will start. I would recomend wearing gloves. I don't think it will run without batttery
