new gears
if you used the BDX stronger lighter gears, read the instructions and pay attention, doing it in frame I like to tip the sled up, just did two on my bench, easier with the case on its side. A little care in refitting the reverse shift fork.........clean and regrease the shift shaft and aluminum case and stuff grease in the housing area between the shaft seal rings, make sure the shift fork plastic guide bushings are back in correctly. For sure mop out the case and get rid of the black sludge in the bottom of the case. After cleaning everything up spic and span, spray lots of lube on the gears and bearing, it will make slipping all the gears back in place a lot easier.
