DD Fluid Alternatives?

What is the weight of AC's DD fluid? Does anyone use alternative such as Amsoil/Royal purple...Thanks

I just bought a bottle of Redline Super Light Shockproof. After speaking with the Redline rep, it should be about the right viscosity. I've always run it in my race cars with excellent results, I expect nothing less in a diamond drive :)

i use 10w non foaming hoist oil, less than $10 a gallon, you can get it at any auto parts store...

fluid

Probably would work fine as any good synthetic will just depends on the weight. To thick it may blow the seals.I think for a couple more bucks I'll stick with the ac synthetic.

Used Amsoil TCC the last 2 years in my M7 and last year in the M1000. No problems yet. Not cheap, but cheaper than the Cat ripoff oil. May just use 10wt hyd oil next change.
