NASCAR is equalizing the cars right out of excitment. They should change the name to HASBEENCAR or ONCEWASCAR. Doubt if I saw 20 laps total of the race.

When I was watching the pre race show this morning I couldn't help but notice that most every fan in the pictures were, to put it bluntly, FAT. Now looking at that picture and how narrow the seats are. How in the heck would they fit in every spectator if the race was sold out? Or do they make everyone by 2 or 3 seats?

I too watched the whole race and it was boring as chit. I think these cars will be fun to watch on short track though

nascar introduced the plate to keep speeds under 200. i agree loose the plate and just gear them lower to keep the speeds where they want them. then you could have A race!

I dont think anybody would want to listen to 43 cars on the limiter for 3 hours.......

I have 2 proposals for 'tona & 'dega

Narrower tires that would not hold traction in the corners forcing drivers to lift

or

Put a dog leg in the back stretch forcing drivers to slow down to negotiate the dog leg

Yeah, like the road course, or maybe have them run the entire road course once a year.
